Acme Packet Powers Growth of VoIP Services from InPhonex
Acme Packet’s Net-Net 9200 session border controller capacity, availability and versatility to grow innovative service provider’s subscriber base by 400% or more

BURLINGTON, MA - Acme Packet® (NASDAQ: APKT), the leader in session border control solutions, today announced that InPhonex, an Internet telephony service provider (ITSP) based in Miami, Florida, has chosen the Net-Net 9200 session border controller (SBC) to expand its subscriber base and further enhance its service offerings.

An existing Acme Packet customer, InPhonex currently services approximately two hundred thousand direct VoIP subscribers with plans to exceed one million subscribers by the end of calendar year 2009. In addition to its retail business, the ITSP markets its services through a worldwide network of more than three thousand resellers under the VARPhonex brand.
